Craft NB | Staff Changes
We’ve had some big changes in the Craft NB offices over the last couple months. Fatema Pagdiwala has taken over as Executive Director, and has been smashing it out of the park! Now, we are pleased to welcome Lisa Dewar as Craft NB’s new Project Manager! Lisa is an artist, in her own right, and is just an all around lovely human being. We are so excited to have her on board with us!
“Lisa Dewar is a visual artist, writer, and events professional from New Brunswick, working and creating in the city of Fredericton and seaside in Saint Andrew’s. After studying Math and Science at the University of New Brunswick, her passions drew her to the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design to pursue her curiosity of how Sciences and Visual Arts are uniquely enriching yet intertwining disciplines. Her practice in illustration and mixed media blends traditional materials and techniques with digital processes to portray elements of fashion, flora, and figure. Supplemented with a regular writing practice and experimentation with various mediums, Lisa is passionate about strengthening our local community of artists and creatives and celebrating their value to our province and beyond.”
